Module 3: Professional development

Think of the many individuals that affect student achievement beyond the classroom teacher: bus drivers, maintenance workers, food service personnel, business managers, and more. Module 3 provides professional development for all areas of the school system. Administrator training is available that helps leaders oversee the implementation of appropriate lessons, strategies, interventions, and questioning techniques for classrooms, campuses, and districts. Links can be added to district-developed professional development.

Focused in-the-classroom examples of lesson models, strategies, interventions, and questioning techniques enhance educators' understanding of the material and how to apply it. This CCAP module provides teachers and administrators with actual views of research-based instruction. Online comprehensive reviews of selected standards help teachers understand the overarching concepts and processes.
